Frederiksdal Solera

This is our premier wine and one that is inspired by the finest traditions of sherry making.

In simple terms, the Solera System means that, every year, a small portion of a wine is drawn from a row of barrels which is then replenished with young wine. The young wine quickly takes on the characteristics of the older wine. On the whole, this process produces wine with an increasing complexity as the years pass.

The Solera is the sum of our history in a bottle. The Solera System takes us back to our very beginning in 2006. We replenish the barrels with only our best vintages. All our bottles are numbered.

When the bottle is open, the wine can easily last for several month, if it is kept in a cool place.
